One thing I’ve found over the past year at the Olean Times Herald is that, depending on the event, you tend to run into the same people, multiple times. A lot of times that’s because a particular person is say the person running these events, or it’s part of an organization’s string of yearly events.
Honestly, this is something I’ve found to be very valuable. Makes it easier to get information faster, and get my indents easily.
Local plays and performances have fallen under the same category. I realized Tuesday night, as I snapped away during the rehearsal for Olean High School’s 2010 performance “Fiddler on the Roof”, that I not only knew most of the students on stage, I could even spell their names. On top of that, I’m beginning to recognize what students are also in sports and what ones are getting awards and…etc etc
Haha, well whether I am or not, shooting for plays is something I’ve really enjoyed, despite the otherwise non-camera-friendly lighting. So here are some of my shots for the Olean High School’s 2010 performance “Fiddler on the Roof”. Enjoy!
These ones were just some of my favorites! Hope you enjoy! 🙂
